Ellora Cave Temples
Main hall
The mandapa contains a series of niches mostly filled with large images of jinas and female figures on all sides. The sixteen highly wrought pillars, with elaborate cushion capitals and assertively projecting bases, are disposed like those of the Kailasa Temple, in groups of four, thus emphasizing the structure.
